What is MyHand®?
MyHand® is a targeted rehabilitation tool for people with hand impairments caused by musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
Developed and tested with patients experiencing various levels of hand function impairment, the system is built on a unique, smart digital therapy platform that helps restore movement and hand function. By improving hand function, the MyHand® System empowers users to reclaim their independence and enhance their quality of life.
How MyHand® Works
The MyHand® System works by leveraging the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms of the human brain that are core to reprogramming damaged neural pathways. The system works by utilizing the human sensory system and motor apparatus to aid in development of alternative neural pathways.
Simply speaking, it works through small patient-initiated voluntary movements depending the the individual ability, providing biofeedback, gradually incresing strength, coordination and precision for performing various tasks.
